Judges and Stewards

If you have registered, log in and then choose Edit Account from the My Account menu indicated by the icon on the top menu.

If you have not registered and are willing to be a judge or steward, please register.

Staff

If you would like to volunteer to be a competition staff member, please register or update your account to indicate that you wish to be a part of the competition staff.

Staff can indicate their availability for the following non-judging sessions:

• Bottle Sort – Sunday, March 1, 2026 9:00 AM, EST
• Award Ceremony – Saturday, March 14, 2026 7:00 PM, EDT

Other Volunteer Info

Volunteers are more than welcome... they're required!  A competition can only run smoothly as long as there are individuals willing to donate their time. 

We do ask that for judges you have experience in judging although not necessarily in meads. Any inexperienced judge in mead will be paired with another mead qualified judge. 

As for stewards, they are the lynchpin. If you've never been a part of a competition before, becoming a steward is an excellent way to proverbial dip your toes into the water.
